The main purpose of this partnership between Expresso and Portuguese beer brand Super Bock was to highlight the active role of beer experience at mealtimes.

Foodies and beer lovers were challenged to unique pairings of some of the best Portuguese dishes by chef José Avillez, along with different brews of craft beer, in a double-page spread featured in the newspaper Expresso. It was illustrated with photographs of the menu, beers and the environment of the Bairro do Avillez restaurant, where the beer tasting menu activities took place.

Super Bock is a Portuguese beer brand with 130 years of history. Its origins date back to the beginning of the industrialisation of the beverages sector in the second half of the 19th century. It has undergone several changes over the years that have turned it into a renowned brand both here and abroad and a benchmark for several generations of consumers.
