SIC has been chosen by Compal to disseminate the brand’s new “We do our best for fruit” campaign, which reflects the sense of its mission and commitment to fruitology, valorising and promoting fruit from four regions in the country in a special edition of Compal Origins of Portugal, with the launch of four new flavours.

João Manzarra – a staunch advocate of nature and the environment, vegan, passionate about animals and endowed with “farming” skills due to already having planted several trees and created a large personal vegetable garden – hosted the “There´s Music in Compal´s Orchard” event, which featured several attractions including musical presentations with the performers António Zambujo, Sónia Tavares and Diogo Piçarra, ambassadors of the Portuguese regions entrusted with bringing the new flavours of the Compal Origins of Portugal range to life – Alentejo, Alcobaça and the Algarve respectively.

SIC, a partner in the event that also marks the International Year of Fruit and Vegetables, provided the brand’s initiative with coverage and disclosure through a series of activities on the SIC TV and SIC’s networks on the 9th of the month and following days. These activities included the programmes Casa Feliz, Somos em Casa, Fama Show and a series of the brand´s own content created specifically to advertise the initiative, with a focus on domestic production, the Portuguese way of being and the quality of the fruit.  

This partnership is the result of the teamwork between Compal and SIC and Initiative´s Branded Content areas (BrandXperience).
