30 YEARS OF VODAFONE IN A DOCUMENTARY MINI-SERIES

Vodafone marks its 30^th anniversary and celebrates the date with a documentary mini-series on how the country’s history overlaps with that of Vodafone and what can be expected from the future.

In five 6-minute episodes, “30 Years of Vodafone” tells us how the country’s history overlaps that of Vodafone, and foresees what we can expect from the future.

The mini-series, a co-production between SIC (which is also celebrating its 30^th anniversary) and Canal180, used images from the SIC and Vodafone archives and listened, in the first person, to stories reflecting the impact of the appearance of the mobile network service and the main moments and changes in the last 30 years, looking ahead to what is still to come.

The episodes are being broadcast in full on Vodafone’s digital channels, and short versions have also been produced and broadcast on SIC television.
