THE CONTINENTE FOOD FESTIVAL SHOW

SIC reinforced its partnership as a media partner of the Continente Food Festival in 2023.

Atelier Impresa returned to Parque da Cidade in Porto on 8 and 9 July to produce a series of materials inspired by a poster featuring, among others, Sebastian Yatra, Calema and Ana Moura, in addition to a panel of renowned chefs.

SIC broadcast a special on-site feature on the days of the festival and a “build-up” was also created for the event through a series of materials broadcast on SIC, SIC Mulher, SIC Notícias and SIC Radical. Promos, 60” mini-content slots and countdowns highlighted the best of the festival, more specifically the programme´s most popular features including the Continente Kitchen, the Continente Gym, the various activities designed by the organisation to entertain entire families, the poster, as well as the Sonae Group´s environmental concerns regarding the organisation of an event of this size.

This 360º, fully integrated communication campaign also included amplification on SIC’s digital platforms – with the creation of an exclusive tab in the menu for festival-related content – and brand-related content, with integrations also in daytime, fiction and print format, in addition to a new feature in this edition: a squad of influencers sharing the entire event experience first-hand through their social networks.

The 5th edition of the festival exceeded all expectations and more than 500,000 people attended the 2-days of entertainment, having a great time listening to the big names from the world of music and savouring the chefs’ delicacies.
