‘Terra Brava’ and ‘Nazaré’ Brava won the two most important medals, gold and silver, respectively.
The SIC soap operas ‘Terra Brava’ and ‘Nazaré’, produced by SP Televisão, were honoured at the 21st edition of the World Media Festivals / Television & Corporate Media Awards. They were this year´s major winners in the TV soap opera category, and bagged the two most important medals, gold and silver, respectively.

This is the fourth consecutive year that national fiction broadcast by SIC and produced by SP Televisão has been awarded prizes at this festival held in Germany, which featured 795 entries from 32 countries this year.

It should be pointed out that Portugal had already won three gold medals for the soap operas Alma e Coração (2019), Rainha das Flores (2018) and Mar Salgado (2017).

The purpose of the World Media Festivals / Television & Corporate Media Awards is to pay homage and celebrate excellence in the production of content on the most diverse platforms, including television, internet and paper, on an international scale. An major acknowledgement that places SIC and SP Televisão fiction among the best in the world once again.
