AN ESSAY ON HEALTH IN GUINEA-BISSAU

SIC’s excellent report “An Essay on Health in Guinea-Bissau” was the winner of the first prize for journalism on Human Rights & Integration. The report is the work of Dulce Salzedas, Rafael Homem and Luís Gonçalves.

In the same category, the Expresso report “They looked like rockets made of tears”, by Raquel Moleiro, Tiago Miranda, João Santos Duarte and Tiago Pereira Santos, was also honoured, ex aequo.

This is a joint initiative of the UNESCO National Commission and the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to recognise the work of journalists on behalf of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
