THE 9^TH EDITION OF THE INTERMARCHÉ AWARD

The 9^th edition of the Intermarché National Production Award featured the renewed partnership of SIC Noticias and Expresso in 2023, two media partners that provide their readers and viewers with the call for candidates, the disclosure of the finalists, monitoring the prizegiving ceremony and congratulating the winners.

Local producers were awarded prizes in three categories in 2023 – Ideas with Potential, Primary Production and Processed Products. In line with previous editions, honorable mentions will also be given to projects that stand out for their quality. 

The initiative has stood out for its support for the agri-food sector in Portugal since 2014 and it has been promoting and recognising national products and producers for over a decade, as well as encouraging sustainable development and innovation in the sector.

Atelier Impresa returned to the initiative once again in 2023, the first phase of which consisted of a call for applications through the production of a spot broadcast on social media. The second phase introduced the pre-finalists, followed by the prizegiving ceremony and the announcement of the winners.

The Intermarché National Production Award highlights the quality of national products among consumers, supports local production, boosts employment and fosters a more promising and conscious future in the agri-food sector.
